The Ceremony |
WHATAn investiture is a ceremony to welcome new girls or adults into Girl Scouting.
It is a very meaningful step in the life of each person as she becomes active in Girl Scouts for the first time. |
DETAILSInvestiture practice will occur over two sessions, one in March and one in April. These are busy months, so the practice sessions will occur on either a Saturday or Sunday morning.
Dates/Times TBA in February.Immediately following the ceremony will be a potluck lunch. Sign-ups will be available online in April. Each Daisy will receive her Daisy Scout Membership Pin and a Certificate. This pin, worn only by Daisy Girl Scouts, shows that a girl is a member of Girl Scouts at the Daisy Girl Scout age-level. It is worn on the Daisy. |
